Thanks for your replies guys.

Well, now you have one more requester for that flipflap

Do you know if those devices add any latency?

In theory it's possible to do without adding latency. In practice it depends on how they implemented it, maybe they're waiting for a whole PPM frame and run several tests (number of channels, correct pulses duration, ...) before sending it to the PWM outputs. In this case it would add 1 PPM frame.

For info, the OrangeRX 1W TX (Futaba version) is currently sold at $21.78 in place of $28.95 at HobbyKing.

I wanted to share a 3D print from thingiverse. It is a cover for the orangeRX LRS TX. If you look at the second picture the creator added a mount for a bluetooth adapter. Pretty cool.

Flipflap, I wanted to share my flight from yesterday. I didnt make a video but here is the droneshare. I still have some configuration to do on my SH. It tends to tip stall under 18Mph. This tlog was made possible by ULRS! 15 miles and I still had 15.3VDC left in my 10400mAh 4S.

Thanks analogman !

I've added a page for user provided content, and added your 3D-printed case as a first item : http://www.itluxembourg.lu/site/ulti...vided-content/

Those are not my design. I just came across them while looking for orangeRX stuff.

I did make some cool stuff today that I plan on sharing later this week. I made a shelf for my SkyHunter that has a built in APM 2.5 mount, snap-in hole for a JR TX, 2 capacitor mounts, 4 wire tie downs and a DB9 mount. I need to make a few design changes and am waiting on some more ABS to show up. Also attached is a XT60/JST battery mount.

Hi,
I want to ask what your flight distances with quadcopters and ULRS system. I have qav500 and my distance is about 1.5 km altitude 30-50 m (dipole quad, DIY Moxon transmitter). It seems to me a little.

Flipflap,

Is it possible to configure a OSD to work with 19200 and tap off of the serial on the APM? I havent tried yet, just curious if you or anyone else has?

It should work, you can have different systems 'reading' the same serial output.
