Regarding the sources, ULRS 1.X is open source and ULRS 2.X is closed source.

If there's a specific feature that you'd like let me know and I could include it in ULRS 3.X

ULRS 3.X is raspberry pi zero based and doesn't have the hardware limitations of ULRS 2.X so for example SBUS is supported by default.

The raspberry pi, pi zero and pi zero W will be supported.

The pi and pi zero W have BT and wifi connectivity, which is a big advantage.

I've got a preference for wifi, and it will allow connecting several ground stations to the same ULRS.

Say goodbye to the FTDI cable.

For the raspberry zero, it can be connected via USB or via Ethernet, or add a wifi or BT dongle.

There a much more options than previously. We can also imagine two or more ULRS connected together to make a redundant/diversity system.

I'm currently working with an LCD touchscreen that just plugs into the raspberry so no computer is required. It will allow configuration and also provide telemetry.

Having all in one without need for an additional smartphone or computer is the target. Reliability and simplicity.

It's the first time I see this message. ULRS should work fine on all recent versions of Windows, 32 and 64 bits.

The ULRS launcher downloads the ULRS CC and then runs it, but in this case it looks like something went wrong during the download.

The best would be to delete the file downloaded and retry.

Multirotors are models too!
Are you running any virus protection, or are these in a virtual machine?

Activate windows defender and keep it updated. Anti-virus are useless in most cases.
