Add to index?

It is a great site. I wonder if we should add this to the index somewhere? Should we make this a thread about great sources of designs/information? AKA hijack your thread?

Something like www.theplanpage.com would come to mind.

John,
It is a good idea. I've been thinking we need something with links to plans, 3-views, etc for people considering doing a scratch built scale plane. Grhaham and I just haven't discussed it and figured out where it should be. Does it deserve its own thread, or just a section in one of the super threads we already have? We have a thread with links to personal sites, club sites, I could start a list in there for links to plans and 3-views. I'll talk it over with Graham.

Thanks Vinnyg

If this generates a list of resources then Vinnyg has done bigger favor than finding a great 3-view source.

Just a question....I get fortune city dead links on all I click on. Does anyone know if this is because I don't accept cookies? Or am I just unlucky?

There was a thread with things like this listed but no one thought to nominate it to the thread index

If you really want to have 3 vieuw drawings scale the two russian sites are the ultimative.... hard to navigate on due to written in russia.. but the second button in the top starting with Y...and then just look.

But rememger not alle the drawings are in exact same size so you have to scale up and down... even allign but it is worth it.

I'll find the thread Graham mentioned above. Keep listing resources found here. I have a bunch bookmarked on my PC as well. When I get time I'll try and combine and merge the threads together with an organized list in the first post, where people can post new finds in subsequent posts. Then Graham or I will add this thread to the "Micro Thread Index". Keep them coming.

In the meantime, here's a site that lists online resources like 3-views and plans. It's pretty comprehensive.

Just added Richard Ferriere's site
http://richard.ferriere.free.fr/3vues/3vues.html
which Peter Frostick posted in another thread. I just wanted this source of 3-views to not get lost.
