Yup, ROC knows a good thing when they got it.

Got a feeling they'll come out with different color schemes of the P51 Racer as their next project, like what they did with the 8 color schemes of the FMS 1400mm P51D.

Nah! That's just the manufacturers maximum retail. In all probability it will be less than US$200, just like Strega and high speed Critical Mass. Parkzone flyzone and such, sell for much more.

ROC Hobby lengthened the fuselage nose to emulate the longer nose of the Goodyear F2G, and added the air scoop at the 12 o'clock position.

On the real bird, the longer nose housed the gigantic Pratt and Whitney 3,000 R-4350 Wasp Major 4-row 28-cyclinder radial. The original Chance-Vought built F4U Corsairs used the 2,000 horsepower Pratt and Whitney Double Wasp R-2800.

No wonder this beast won the races it entered.
