Thanks for your reply, I actually did state that under the Servo Test menu I have the Rx voltage alarm set for 3.4 volts

In the telemetry screen for the Rx it say RX-VOLT 5.0 and R-LOW 4.8

The manual states R-LOW is just reporting lowest value seen, not the alarm trigger value correct?

From the Data logs I don't see any ripples going below 4.8 volts so I don't understand why the Receiver voltage voice keeps coming on over and over...

HoTTSync available for MX-12/16

New f/w with HoTTSync and ETSI 1.8.1 update are available for MX-12/16 on www.graupner.de

- Any schedule when the others will be posted online?
- Do the receivers need an update for this to work?

The new method allows the binding HoTTSync either globally (as before) or solely with a memory of the transmitter.

Sweet!

In my opinion Spektrum should release the patent on ModelMatch.

My apologies if I missed it but all I saw was a setting you said was under Basic Settings and that is for the Tx battery.

I do see your logs show good voltage and only going to 4.7 in the latter stages of flight.

Ya got me stumped.

Graupner mz-18/mz-24 release notes 1.032

NOTICE
Please note that after the firmware update the radio will restart and reapply the firmware update.
Just in case, make sure that all models are saved on the SD-Card before starting the firmware
update. After completion of the update rebinding of all models will be needed due to some of the
new firmware functions introduced in this release.

NEW
-Added compliancy for CE-EN300328-v1.8.1 norm

-Graupner introduces HoTTSync which enables a secure and exclusive communication link
between a HoTT transmitter and HoTT receiver for a streamlined and consistent telemetry data
transmission. Users can still choose a global communication link for backwards compatibility.

Using HoTTSync
1.Update the mz-24/18 radio with firmware 1.032 using Firmware Update Studio
2.Rebind your receiver to your transmitter.

Using HoTTSync Global
1.Update the mz-24/18 radio with firmware 1.032
2.Go to the model select menu and select your model by touching the button for it to change
to blue.
3.Select the model image (AIR, HELI or GLID)
4.Chose Global for regular binding or NO for HoTTSync binding.

-Short keys for accessing the telemetry menu. Press both left/right keys to get instant access
to the telemetry data viewer.

-When touching a model name in the Model Sel menu the model icon GLID/HELI/ACRO will
automatically change depending on the selected model for easier recognition.

CHANGED
-AUTOLOAD and STRENGTH ALARM settings are now saved on the transmitter.

-In GLID mode Flap Sett has been renamed to Camber.

-Changed wording in some of the HELI menus.

-In the Fail Safe Menu there is now only a single STO button. When moving to the NEXT page fail
safe settings are automatically stored on the receiver.

-RF will not be activated when the THR.POS warning dialog appears. Clearing the throttle position
will enable RF and the transmitter will bind with the receiver.

-In case the current model is setup as wireless trainer RF will be activated.

-When a new model is selected that has not been previously bound the BIND SET dialog will
appear.

-Changes to the mz-24 MP3 player to display only the stored name in the MP3 file properties.

-The servo display shortcut keys UP/DOWN will now work from inside any menu.

-When no telemetry data is present the Telemetry SETTING & DATA VIEW button is inactive.

-Access to the Model Sel menu is only possible when there is no active model bound to the
transmitter. To change to a new model you need to turn off the receiver or switch RF to OFF in the
TX ctl menu.

-The T:CO/T:SE button has been relocated to the Trim Step menu.

-When a previously bound model is being selected the RF ON/OFF dialog will appear to turn the
RF ON eliminating the need to go to the TX ctl menu.

-The operation of TIMER1 has changed. To start the timer assign a control for activation.
To stop the timer the ESC key needs to be pressed. Previous controls to stop the timer will not
work anymore. You can use TIMER2 for identical TIMER1 behavior.

-In HELI mode when removing the DV1 control, adjustments to the throttle channel 6 are not
possible anymore

FIXED

-Changed wrong positioned Q.Link text labels

-Several small bug fixes

-Throttle warning when throttle channel is reversed.

ALL UPDATES CAN BE DONE THROUGH FIRMWARE UPGRADE STUDIO

Well, so far it seems to work.

I updated the MC-20. Did a Model Bind with two GR-24's.

When on Model A it gives the warning to switch off Rx before changing models.

Once done and switched over to Model B, upon re-powering Model A there is no response from the non-selected Rx!!

Could not get MX-20 done right away as it has no more USB port now that I have changed out the Audio Module to BlueTooth (USB port was on same module) The USB adapter did not seem to work on Data Port on back of radio.

Not sure but a BlueTooth COMM port may be the way to go.

Will be anxious to hear how things work on the MZ line of Tx's

Put the firmware on the SD and flash from (not so) "Hidden" menu

Turn transmitter ON.

Press both arrows (up/down) from the left and SET of the right side together.

After ~one sec. you should see the menu HIDDEN MODE.

Graupner Radio’s and HoTT Products

I installed 1.032 on my MZ-24 last night. I somehow managed to reset both receivers I rebound to factory presets. I don't know if the binding operation did that or the things I tried to get the RX into bind mode did. I sure wish Graupner would standardize the bind process across all receivers.
