Indoor Fly-in March 13th in Willow Park Texas !

Hey guys, in my quest for more indoor flying time I have negotiated with the Willow Park Baptist Church to rent us their Gymnasium for a 4 hour flying session on Saturday, March 13th from 2:30pm to 6:30pm ! Landing fees are $5.00 a person. The gym is a little bigger than a single gym, more like 1.5 times with a 35 foot ceiling and a rubberized floor, not a hard wood floor. There are a couple of stipulations, first there can be no selling done openly at the event (Church is adamant about this ), second is we have to vacate the building NO LATER than 6:30 pm so they can get it ready for church on Sunday morning. I hope to see everyone there ! If this works out as a good site to fly, I will negotiate for twice a month fly-ins ! I am also going to use some of the landing fees to put together a couple of airplanes such as the IFO style for "newbies" to fly for free and kiddos to learn to fly on .

Sounds good Rick;

How about a map?
If we get enough different sites going we can fly a couple times a week!

Oops, a map would be nice ! The church is on Ranch House Rd., right behind Brookshire's grocery store.

Can you post a picture of the insides. I'd like to see what my ShockFlyer can smack into.

Too funny, Kelvin ! At least the floor is softer ! Please dont' hit the insulation on the walls, that was their main concern that it won't get torn ! LOL !

You gonna fly at LMRC Sunday ?

Many thanks to the few guys that braved the torrential downpour Saturday to come fly with us ! It was a lot of fun, but a little tight for more than 3 or 4 to fly at a time. Hopefully we can maybe do this again !
