Awesome.

Do I still get to play over here in San Diego? We never really get a "winter" to speak of..

Us SW USA types have to have our launch arm tied to our waists at the elbow as compensation for the very nice winter weather!

Ok, for those who use a Taranis, I've written a script to help with the timing in task 1.

It has not been tested thoroughly yet, but if the weather allows, I will be using it tomorrow

HTH,
Mike

(edit: I've added sound files in the blog post ; don't take this too seriously, though )

I am considering to use the temperature in the scores: +20C will result in -20%, -20C will add 20% to the score

Feel free to join, all you need to do is send your times to [email protected]

Info is on http://www.rcdc.nl/wp

Have fun,
Jaap

I like that. If we have another winter like last year (frequently -30*C), I'll do very well even though I'm not very good at flying these things

My biggest problem is in the winter, if I'm not at work, it's night So no flying

Rasmus, I've actually been considering bagging a wing with LEDs embedded in the wingtips. It would not add much weight.

I wonder how much lift could be found at night?
