My pleasure!

Yeah, but some places they call it Expert 1, and some places they call it "Fast", so I saw "EXP" in the manual and assumed they meant Expert (2). Got it all figured out eventually.

The 6-axis on this thing is really dialed in, just like the nQX. I will have to get more fancy with it next flight video. It was blowing about 10mph with 15-20mph gusts, so I held back a bit. But, the Alias was pretty unaffected by the wind.

Ryan, nice little video there buddy. I'm interested to see more of what it can do in "acro mode".

Man, that "rudder stunt" looks stupid. Maybe at night with the lights on. But gosh, just a waste of space on the page in the Owner Manual in daylight.

P.S. It seems to be a touch faster in FFF than my V212/nQX frankenquad. What's your impression of plain old FFF speed?

Get some gloves. We need you, man. Get out there and record!!

They just say to go to: http://latrax.com/alias-moretricks.htm

Yeah, I'll get more aggressive with it next time. Like I said, wind. :/ And winter is right around the corner, so hopefully I have more chances to fly it.

The rudder stunt is a bit pointless for more advanced fliers, but it's unique, and why not, right? heh It will be fun for beginners. And I could see it being good for practicing pirouette circuits.

It seemed pretty fast in "Fast" (or Expert 1) mode, but I don't have a ton of space to really let it get going. I'll have to fly it up and down the street next time. I'm not sure what the rates are out-of-the-box, so I don't know if Fast is at 100% or not.

Gloves suck for pinchers. I'll find a solution though.

Yeah, we get ALL of that AT THE SAME TIME here in IL. lol

It's amazing that Horizon Hobby and Hobbico/TowerHobbies all set up shop here. I swear this must be the worst state for RC flying weather. Hell, our biggest city is nicknamed "The Windy City" for crying out loud! lol

So is this going to give the Blade 180qx a run for the money? Minus the camera, but I'm sure one of you will have a camera on there Alias soon

And more stuff......

Thanks Ryan for all the info. Looks awesome.

Yea, cutie Keli in the video's calls it "Fast mode" instead of the manual as Expert 1 or Expert 2 Mode. Now to really confuse everyone here is the video for pre-programing multiples flips. F3's.
And there is one more video for setting the rates on all the channels. I am sure we will all get used to it when we get ours !!!!!! ....
