My review of the Silverlit Nano Falcon (World's Smallest RC Heli!)

Don't let its size fool you… this thing flies quite well, and I'm really impressed that it's 3ch control.

Theicman,do you know how many mAh are in the battery? I want to try to get some replacement batts for it and put a external jst plug on it. Do you know if the battery leads are soldered right on the board?

I have no idea... I haven't opened it up. I would imagine it's under 100mAh.

I'm not sure how much luck you'd have with battery mods... this thing is TINY and I'm sure there's little-to-no room left for changing things.

Flying the Nano Falcon 'til it dropped.

The helicopter was airborne and in flight (not hovering) for at least twenty-four minutes each day for 34 days. The 102 flights took approximately 59 hours to complete. Besides battery charging time, after each flight the battery was allowed to rest ten minutes before recharging. So, a daily flight session of 3 flights took about an hour and 45 minutes to do. The maximum cruising speed of the helicopter is about 3 miles per hour. Flying at that speed for 13.6 hours means the helicopter flew a total of 40.8 miles.
After the first 102 flights the Falcon was flown less cautiously. It survived many crashes suffering only superficial damage to the canopy. Finally, after another 5 months and over 200 flights , one of the main motors stopped working.

Wow, that's quite impressive... both the helicopter's performance, and your stat tracking! If I could hire an intern to help me with my testing, you'd get the job! hahaha
