I like the pic Jure. Always was interested in the different cloud formations.

Glad you like it! Just make sure that you go up to the 3rd gate (not visible from the paved trail --- walk up to the 2nd gate then follow the fence to the third) . The landing zone is even narrower there!

BTW, second gate is flyable but usually nicer lift at the 3rd.

Forecast blues.

Went up to the lower hill yesterday, Sunday, after 2pm. Winds were to be 12 gusting 15 according to Windy.com so Alex and I only dragged a couple of light wings, a foamy glider and the Weasel. Winds started at 16 gusting 24. By the time we left around 4 we had gusts to 28 and still building. Nice lift. Figure. Had lots of fun with unballasted Zagi and Bee2. Not so much with the Easy Glider. It just wanted to go UP.

Met Oliver on the hill flying his 60" Genesis moldy. On the way down saw Rich Oliver going up with his Jart. Beth was already waiting for him on the hill.

Parting shot of Oliver flying his 60" on the lower hill. (little speck above him is the Genesis)

I was at Sunset Beach (caught a couple of Perch in the morning) and stood on the dune with my Spider, with the wind blowing left to right across the slope.

Looks like we're headed into a whole week of good 'forecast' Wind,...

....all the way up to the annual Combat Wing event

I'm looking forward to stealing out one afternoon, before the 4 day weekend

You caught some Perch! Right on. With what bait?
Sucks to hear about the wind direction.
I hit up the Slot and got to DS my Carbon Sunbird. It did awesome!

Mole crabs seemed to work better the Gulp Sandworms.
I'm getting better at reading the water too...there were deeper "channels" along the shore, only a few feet out in which fish were going back and forth feeding.
