Nice job!! If it were mine, I'd clear coat it to preserve the patina....

Thanks!
I actually thought about clear coat prior, before i added that final, large layer of glass (which i initially didn't plan on). That sealed up anything that was sanded.

I still won't paint it yet.

It is nice to have generous friends! And a 2.5m too. Looking forward to seeing it fly at Sunset.

What an intense day at Coyote today! The wind which was just adequate for Ahi flying when we got there, went to 30 mph in literary a few minutes! Never seen anything like that. You could hear the roar of the wind as it kept building and building. At one point the guys were measuring 38 mph gusting to 46!
We still managed to get a bunch of flights in, though the landings could be exciting.
Had to come down off the hill as it was getting really cold up there.

Aw man!
Totally forgot about the flap servos when i typed that the Blade was finished...and despite the quickness of bending up some links, i'm stuck in my usual spinning in circles, of dreading gluing in a wing servo "for good".

No, by the time I was going to the winds were 38-40. Didn't want to maiden in that.
