Hubsan Q4 (H-111)

And a new toy from Hubsan:
Q4 - I'd call it a sub-micro.

Features:
Dimensions: 45 mm x 45 mm
LED Lights for front and back flying guide and low light flying
4-Channel 2.4ghz Radio with digital trim
Integrated gyro for stable flying
100mAh 3.7v Lipo battery
Spare blades included
Weighs 11.5grams!
USB Charge cord
Coreless micro motors

First Video:
Hubsan H111 Q4 - first testing (2 min 16 sec)

The show seems to go on with micronisation...

Hubsan Nano Q4 is UK version while Estes Proto X Nano is US version. And none for the rest of the world

The Estes Proto is just the rebranded Hubsan Q4 as far as I can see - the same old game as with X4/QR1.
Thanks for the hint to the Estes anyway.

OK, the other thread is about the Estes version.....

so here for the hubsan version flyers:

Can someone check if it is possible to FLIP the hubsan version with the hubsan x4 V1 tx??

They say it is not possible with the estes version (only v2 tx)

But Estes is Hubsan. They call it Estes in the states, but it is still the same Hubsan. Someone showed the picture of its board and it had Hubsan IC on it.

i think all hubsan X4 TX has capability of flip. So all should work with nano.
But i dont have nano to confirm that.
I will test it once i got mine

In the estes topic, they say a v1 Tx can't get it to flip. I don't know why... but they say so :P

let me know if you tested!

Q4 on X4 Tx works fine

I have tried the X4 TX and yes it will flip no problem using the old TX, the difference is better resolution on the X4 TX also only 2 flight modes instead of 3 on the original TX.

I will be uploading a video to you tube over the weekend.....

Flips using standard X4 TX with the Q4

here you go, flips and rolls using a V1 X4 tx on the Q4.
Hubsan Q4 using X4 transmiter flips and rolls inc flight in the dark, oh and a crash!! (4 min 28 sec)

combatxe2, that is the X4 V2 Tx, which is already well-documented as working with the Proto-X/Q4.

The question is whether or not the X4 V1 Tx will allow flips, which some people say it can, some people say it can't.

To make it clear, Estes and Hubsan are two entirely different and unrelated COMPANIES, but yes, the quads they are selling are the same thing. Hubsan sold the design to Estes to sell in the US.
