Oh, yes, the Super Sportster EP that crashed today is pictured in post # 146 above! Sure does not look like that anymore...

The gentleman did not walk the "Walk of Shame" along! We were right there with him and supported him all the way back to the PITTs!

I am very greatful and appreciative that this nice gentleman gave me the model without the gear since he was going to throw it away and I estimate just a couple of hours to bring back the model to flying condition!

Yeah, it looks bad...but, that's beacause there's a battery hatch on the top that gets removed....all I have to do is rebuild the frontal firewall and re-enforce the existing side balsa FUSE frame and it will be good as new!

In other news...

I was super impressed with this 1935 Taylor Cub with Floats. I have seen it fly with wheels but, just take a look at it with floats, just majestic....boy did I have FUN TODAY!

Here's the Rodney Iwan's "Daddy" size Super Sportster! It flys just like the small Great Planes EP version!

Take a look at the Monster 1.20 4-stroke Glow Engine!

Sorry no in-flight pictures on account that the camera person was flying his own models
