A-4 nut!!

Your biggest problem is your batteries. At 400 mah They are too small and will not deliver enough current to the motors. You need some HE 1000 or Kan 900's. Talk to A10driver, We just got his going and he is using Kan 650's. Use 8 cells and.............DO NOT add weight to the plane. If you must balance shift the battery pack. Even with the bigger motors - you still must account for every ounce of weight.

Oh yea,
One more thing. If you can.....ditch the gear. You would be suprised at how much drag they actually add. You would also be getting rid of some extra weight. If you only have pavement - it should still work. But you really need new batteries.

My Brother's A-10 flies very well on 3s2p Irate 850's with the EDF-55/300H's, the lipo's are in front of the batteryhatch for a good CG without adding weight, full power is only used in short bursts to endure motorlife...
Handlaunching standing still is easy, you just give it a light throw and it flies straight out of your hand...
Use the lightest RX and servo's and lipo's and you will have a perfect plane
(No landing gear; landings on grass)

If you guys are willing, go for dual astro microfans. I have them in my 1st plane and it could ROG even at 660 grams.
