GWS are the big ones, right ?

well..
i have tried this one:

motor: Goldmücke from modellbau gross
batts: 8 280mAh (90g heavy, old)

first testflight was not that great (wrong cg, only one servo on aileron (Querruder) working)
thought it would work with one servo as well

for next test:
a "real" prop (8x4, 9x3,7" ?)
and a 3s 350kokam (30g)
and the damaged servo repaired

Had a slimer powered 163 some 20 years ago, first of on a .15 then a .20.Very fast and lots of fun, hard to hand launch solo and tended to get stuck in a spin, all the way.Mine was finished all in red too,it is a legitimate scale finish.Edit, just did a quick google and the first operational flight of the comet was performed by Wolfgang Spate [ the a has an umlaut,my keyboard doesn't] commander EK 16 ,plane was finished in red.Best regards Al,not really a rivet counter,Dente.

Hmm, I just found this thread - sorry to dig it up.

Today, I got me a ME163 from Simprop - Full GFK one-pice plane. Small!! 680mm span. I'm thinking of putting something like a MiniAC brushless on 3s Etec 1200 in there.. Any thoughts? (experiences?)

Hans,

Any link to where you got it? i would be very interested. my 163 has had about 30 Flights now and has gaines about 80g of Epoxy. Still flies great but I am also thinking about putting a Mini AC Brushless in. Maybe the MPJet 25/35? I could pel it out of the gearbox and direct drive the Günther...

What does the full gfk cost?

regards,

Reverend, at a RC-trade fair. Believe it or not, I got it for only 25 euro's !!! Beatifull ship. it's listed at hoellein.com :

http://www.hoellein.com/websites_neu.../emotor_eu.htm

It's a Voster model, but I believe it's basically the same kit. It goes for 125 euro's but it;s a beautifull kit..

Awesome vid Rev....so ...in your opinion, would you say that these things are

1) Fragile

2) Very Fragile

3) Extremely fragile and delicate

4) a loosely bonded accumalitive mass of foam pieces looking for a place to land separately.
