Got some time to play with my surveilzone HS1177 settings today. I was already happy with the default settings but with these changes, I get better overall color. Will stick with these settings for awhile. Here are the changes I made to the default settings.

NEW SETTINGS
Contrast = 50
Sharpness = 30
Display = LCD
Gamma = 0.4
PED = 22
Color gain = 212

Surveilzone HS1177 settings (7 min 48 sec)

I'm looking for an affordable (less than 500 meters range) 5.8ghz RX, TX, and camera. I just want to get into FPV, and so I'm not into something that long range or expensive.
Which products would be recommended?
There are so many camera, and so forth I'm a bit lost.

We recommend the below items

Camera, 600tvl sony super had II CCD camera CC1333 or its mini version 600tvl sony super had II CCD camera HS1177 which supports DC5V~15V and light weight of 15g with case.

Both cameras are with IR sensitive filter on the CCD by default, if you want better image color at day time, you can buy an IR blocked lens so that you can change to the lens from day to night. Day with IR blocked lens, night with IR sensitive lens by default mount on the camera.

5.8G Tx Rx kit, recommend Boscam TS351+RC305, SKU: ws1115

If you need monitor, you can have a look at this 7 inch monitor, SKU: cm1120f

And we also recommend this DVR for recording, SKU: DR1168

Wow that seems rather affordable, for under $150 I can get setup, and start flying.
I'm off to a trip for a bit, but when I get back I'll probably order it since that seems like a good setup for the price.

DHL is sort of the worst company for sending the Chinese gear to Europe. They look closely at CE certification and can easily send your gear back to China. Happened before with me and my friends.

Sorry for the delayed shipment. It might due to National Day holiday from 1st to 7th October. When it is accepted in Hong Kong, it usually takes another 2 to 4 days to arrive at the destination.

We will track it for you when the logistic company is back to work on 6th October. And any news we will keep you updated.
