I think you're onto something spectacular. Great-looking airframe.

Keep going until you have some vid. I want to see this one fly.

finished cutting both molds , i started with a primer and a 2K paint and this is where it went horridly wrong

ive got the paint mix wrong and its not drying :S

this morning when i looked at the mold the paint appeared hard, but now that its been in the sun for most part of the day the paint has gone soft again ( i sprayed this 3 days ago)

cheers dewd !!

had to wipe the paint off with a cloth and some thinners ... i think it may have been the paint as it took ages to dry the last time i used it.

still not sure what motors to use, need to swing a 9" prop

sprayed and polished ...

i didnt spend as much time as i should have prepping the primer, so the finish has a few flaws , but i dont think they going to be too distracting. nothing worse than having to do something twice

first layup will be a simple one to see where there are problems ... probably one layer glass and one carbon

first one is out the mold

@ 160 grams im SUPER chuffed !

layup is :-
1 layer glass
1 layer carbon kevlar
carbon bias strengthen pieces
1 layer carbon

i think it will be under 100 grams once i have the layup right
