Here is my new ThunderTiger Scooter with a TT .007 engine that just runs GRAET! Low idole, fast transition, and screaming, but quite WOT!

This little Q-T flies great, and thermals like a sailplane! Loops, rudder rolls, inverted, and really slow flyer! 16min flights on a 2oz. tank of 15% nitro!

Jake ---

Great looking plane -- the vintage look has a lot of class. With the polyhedral, I'll bet it's tough to hold inverted.

The same for your plane --- transparent or semi-transparent covering is the only way to go. It would be a shame to cover up the stick structure.

Yes, inverted can be tough, but the challenge is fun. As long as I don't try to steer it will hold strait and level for about 30seconds, then it will either start to drop its nose and come out of it, or start to wobble and flip back over, but its still fun.

I just ca't get over the TT .007! I've never had a throttled 1/2A motor besides a .09 hornet, which is a real loud mouth! Its so quiet, and runs as well as a .40! I've never had that out of a engine smller than .25!

Another Guillows DrI

Have not seen one of these for a while. This flew in St.Louis, MO on a Cox PeeWee 020 but was underpowered. Goes great in Denver CO with much more powerful PAW 033. Ailerons, elevator and throttle, so quite aerobatic. All up weight 9.2oz. Goes for 20+ mins on "Ramada Inn" shampoo bottle clunk tank. Fast but stable flight. Landing tough - note scuffed prop and wingtips. Undercarriage left deliberately flimsy so it bends on landing and can be straightened out after it absorbs impact. Note almost no dihedral, got all the roll control needed with ailerons. 2nd pic shows aileron hookup - there is a servo under the turtle deck with a rocker arm. The pushrods feed bent wires in the wing trailing that are anchored in the ailerons

Very nice job! Your aileron setup is unique, but interesting.

3ch or 4ch?
