dked41,

GRACE is a good flying plane. I had the one that is currently traveling around North America for a few weeks and did several flights on her. Very responsive on high rates, yet can be tamed down for a good flyer. She will snap roll quite well on high rates.

Here's a few pictures of the traveling GRACE for those not familiar with her.

Hey apple... the AP .061 would be way too anemic for the 'Lil Extra. Sig recommends a Norvel .074, and there are folks running .10s and .15s in them with great results. Believe it or not, a light .15 is about perfect for the plane and wingloading isn't significantly affected. I'm running a Mag XL .15 on mine and it goes real nice - darn near unlimited vertical, but not quite enough to comfortably hover. I've read that the Mag .15 XLS is a much hotter engine and would be the one I chose if I had to do it again.

Hope this helps,

-Joe

Might the TT .07 work in the 'Lil Extra? A larger engine would be more prefered, but...could this still keep her up?

The wing span is 30" the weight is 13 to 16 oz., depends on your radio gear. Mine is heavy at 16.8 oz with the landing gear. dked41
