Oh well This is my just finished Mini Super Sportster EP speed 400 . I converted it to take a norvel .061. The plane weighed in 6ozs lighter than its suppose too. I havent flown it yet still breaking the norvel in .
I figure it will fly great. The other 2 pics is my plane stable

T-34 EP ARF with Norvel 061 AME

I put a new norvel 061 AME into this ARF I found in Singapore. The ARF at about US80 was beautifully made, laser cut and well finished. The Norvel went in easy and test flew it today. At 22 oz all up it needs a bit of speed to climb, but at full power it climbs quite well. The best is taxing around on the tarmac, and touch a goes. It has steerable nose gear, 4 channel and is simply a lot of fun. Electrics dont have the presence of the Norvel, the sound and smell of fuel and smoke is a great extra dimension. I am most amazed by how well the norvel (my first) idles, it has only has 3 2 oz tanks through it and with 25% nitro morgon power fuel it behaves as good as an os 40 already - very impressive engine. such a pity it is hard to get spares. I cant even get a spare plug, so am being mega cautious with the engine. The plane is very strong it could easily handle a 074.

.

Cool plane.
I have built a couple more .061 planes sense my last post. Speedbird I have a .061 Ap wasp on 1 got it from towerhobbies . You can get the glow plugs from tower and they look like they will fit/work just fine on your norvel as well.

I'm mounting a Norvel in a COX Cessna and am interested in where you mounted your fuel tank. Nice looking Beech indeed.

Top of fuel tank lined up with needle valve. When flying I had no problems with leaning out - as long as the needle was within about 2 clicks ! - very sensitive to get it right.

Norvel 074 powered "Yeti" This plane is an electric 3D plane but does really well as a glow plane.
