If doing aerobatics, pls note that there is a slot in the middle, underside of the wing where I glued a carbon fibre piece, I think it was 3x3mm square. This fill up the slot in the the wooden piece also - without the CF piece you will almsot certainly fold the wing in the air.

It is glued with CA and a hell to get off, I tried but almost destroyed the 10x10mm square CF tube. Buy a new CF square instead which is 800mm long so you dont need to use the white plastic connector.

I have thought about buying a new CF tube. But i have to remove all the white plastic mounts for the wings and servos. They also are glued on with CA.

I am bathing the Motor mount in Acetone since yesterday, but the motor mount doesnt move any mm.

Lets see what it makes in some days. :-)

SUCCESS!!!!!

After a bath in acetone for about 6 hours the motor mount was easy to remove.

Dont forget to remove the lead in the nose of the square CF tube.

Lead from the nose inside the CF tube.

Dont know how heavy it was before drilling it out. Maybe 25 gramm. Length 4cm.

How much flight time can i expect with a 1600mah 2s and stock setup with the HK SS?

With 3S and 1300mah doing aerobatics 7-8 min all depending on flight style.
Normal flying much more flight time.

I know some people fly it with 3S, but it seems to become nose heavy then. I also have seen people mentioning that there is a piece of led hidden somewhere in the nose that you have to remove. Good packs are 3S 2200mAh

From previous page (4), my post #56:

"About 650 grams.
The prop included is a 10x4,5.
I use 3S & 1300mah with included motor and prop for ARF and can do aerobatic , very, very fun to fly this HK SS."

As I bought it ARF not PnP I installed a 30A ESC I had in a box.
No problems with nose heavy, actually I think a 3S & 1300 batt is perfect for balance, power and flying time.
