That is awesome that they have taken a step into the 700 world but i'm not sure if I like the fact that it is no longer compatible with Align parts . They're definitely going to have to step their game up and make some quality parts for this machine since we wont be able to run any Align parts on it.

Well, so far I have popped two of those HK Yep HV 120 esc's on my own 700s. But they flew well on my 600s I have to add. And every HK plastic gear I have seen so far is almost butter soft and pretty badly out of round. I have a bag with over a dozen in it. Lets hope they at least stepped that part up? Not to mention the bearing quality? I tossed bag fulls of them into the trash last year when I saw how horrible they were. I have to add, isn't that about the ugliest Tx a guy can ever see? lol.

Yes the tx is an abomination in my opinion...no offense to those who use/own them.

Does't look anything like the Xtreme 90. Looks sort of like the Miniature Aircraft Furion 9 but it's not.

HK doesn't make their own helicopters they just rebrand. Quality will depend on who's actually making this. If it's someone like JS Model then quality should be good, if on the other hand it's whoever makes their current clones then..

So is this an Align clone?

Or is it one of Phoenixtech's semi clones that use a custom frame with Align compatible parts in a different configuration like the Evo 500?

Or something completely new?

Well they have brought out a 450L Dominator heli, there is speculation that a 500L is next so…? Who knows.

I'm with you tracernz the 500L will be next followed by a 550L or 250L. They are incorporating more of their anti cloning tech into the models. That is making the models share molding with CF that makes it difficult for companies with milling machines to copy the product. And it is working! They still come out with some parts, but the parts that Align has "protected" you never see. Just look at the 500pro. Not a single company makes a replacement frame.

I'm still surprised that nobody has made a blinged out upgrade frame for the 500 and 600 Pro with the plastic molding replaced with CNC aluminum yet.
