what materials do u need to build a slow stick

What materials do u need to build a slow stick? Like a soldering gun or anything if i buy the combo pack wiht the tc and reciever.

Hmmmmm. You will need something to poke tiny pilot holes in the fuse to secure the gearbox and perhaps the tail feathers. The micro drill bits sold in hobby stores work great.

You might wish to buy these items, as well:

-Fine grit sandpaper to bevel the control surfaces.
-Epoxy to hold the wing dihedral and fiberglass wing supports in place.
-Shipping tape to cover the LE and TE of the wing.
-A few extra props.

The smaller GWS ESC's (2amp/5amp) require no soldering. I believe the larger ones require connectors, and thus a soldering gun and heat shrink tubing.

I think that's about it!

I read the thread Karl linked and it reminded me of one more thing - Du-Bro Mini E/Z Connectors (#845) for super easy pushrod installation. You do not need them, but they make moving servos around sooooo much easier!
