It's on my build list Wilfor. Don't know when I'll have time to build it though.

I wonder if a 2X 6mm depron version would be any MORE fun ?

Put a screaming inrunner in the nose and it would impose Baadness !!!

hmmmm?

My 1:1 layout in full sized sheets of 3mm depron.
Larger sizes may be in the offing :-)

I don't speak German so I can't tell if the "source" folks are OK
with "Sharing".

I do give them full credit for the design, however.
If IF there is any objection I will stop or we could come to some
royalty agreement.

My only input is the layout and arrangement of parts for CNC cutting.

Yes, a 2x (or would that be 1.7x?) size version built out of MPF sounds good to me.

Walt,
I have not spoken to Hilmar.

But I gotta ask, Isn't his original pdf FULL SIZED ?

Couldn't you just print what I have provided ?
Or the original for that matter ?
Or make a PDF out of IT ?

I just took the original and moved things around to fit on std Depron sheeting.

I never was a big fan of pdf's in the 1st place.

Looks like a fun plane so I have printed the plan and all parts cut out ready to build tomorrow, the build photos are pretty good but it would be good to get a translation of the german.

OK ! How about 38" span using lots of foam !

Since this is a big eggshell ( monocoque ) build,
I would try using 3mm even on the larger one !

Plus lower foam cost and lighter model.

Thanx guys.

It was not difficult as Hilmar made the PDF's WITH the Vector in them.
So I could import them into my CAD directly - no retracing ! :-)

I wrote to Hilmar, after running his pages thru a translator.
Translators aren't "There" yet, if you know what I mean.
Then I transcribed some of the corner captions from the plans to a phrase translator.
I didn't find anything stating not for commercial purposes or the like.

Still I asked Hilmar IF we could make them, I think.
The parting comment from the e-mail form was NOT encouraging :-(

We'll just hafta wait-n-see.

Best
