It seems to move around between Small Flying Atrs, HipPocket, the Guillows forum...then there's the Comet yahoo page...can't tell the players without a program.

I like RCGroups, and when Small Flying Arts first ran into problems I had hoped the traffic would come over here.

I stay mostly with RCGroups. I am on Hip Pocket just to veiw plans and drawings. I don't do yahoo, and never had much luck with small flying arts.

One cannot like FF scale and not like the following!
http://www.ffscale.co.uk/

warning: You find yourself looking thru ALL the vids. Hours and hours worth.

Flee Fright is fun and it has it's place, but a lot of areas today are pretty much a wash out for it. In my case, too much chance of losing a motor to be worth the bother.

I've cut back on the number of forums I check on regularly. Too many different hobbys with far too many great forums. But when I do wander from RCG for free flight the next stop is almost invariably Small Flying Arts. I don't post much there any more but I do read in and smile at the projects being done. Hippocket is pretty good too. But the postings don't seem to be as current once you get past the first few.

NFFS (National Free Flight Society) forums page
http://freeflight.org/phpBB3/

If you want more, go to the top of the page and click on "NFFS Home", then on the right of the home page click on "Free Flight Technical Library" you'll find tons of articles on everything free flight.

This site doesn't have a forum, but it does have LOTS of free flight information in the Articles Index.

I do frequent the NFFS forums. I tend to have better luck with RCG. I do have a couple of long threads on NFFS. I think people enjoy RCG because it is like one stop shopping. You can read several different airplane topics in one place.

I spend almost all my model plane internet time on RCG for the reason you mentioned. I have the NFFS site bookmarked and usually just go there for info from their robust article collection when looking for a solution to a problem.

I kinda dropped out of SFA when they had such big problems. I tried again just tonight, but couldn't renew under my own name or password, as the verification was illegible to me (eyesight problems), so I'll just forget it for now...
