The Albatros D.III was a biplane fighter aircraft piloted by the German and Austrio-Hungarian Air services during World War I. These aircrafts were flown by many of the top German Ace pilots and was very dominant during their period. The Albatros is constructed of a semi-monocoque, plywood skinned fuselage. Albeit some minor issues with the lower wing construction, the Albatros was considered pleasant and easy to fly. The sesquiplane arrangement of the wings offered improved climb, maneuverability, and downward visibility compared to previous aircrafts. It was prone to spinning but easily recoverable.

The Dynam Albatros is a beautiful EPO foam representation of an aircraft that battled the skies almost 100 years ago. Re-live history and enjoy the unique silhouette of the Albatross soaring the sky. Detailed features even include an engine and machine guns to enhance that war bird effect. The plane may look funny to some, but it packs some serious hardware. A 40amp brushless speed controller feeds current to the BM3720A 600KV Brushless motor. A supplied 14.8v 2200mah Lithium battery provides power to the servos and power plant. At a wingspan of almost 50 inches this bird will impress everyone at your field especially when your pulling crazy spins!

This ready to fly Albatros is equipped with Dynam's 2.4ghz radio system. The electronics are installed from the factory and minimum assembly is required to complete the plane and ready it for flight. You will need to acquire a Li-Po battery charger capable of charging 14.8v Li-Po batteries and possess basic building materials to complete the project.
