A little off topic, (ok, a lot off topic) but I figured it couldn’t hurt to ask if anyone amongst us is proficient with using Microsoft Access. I need a simple database and of course would pay for the service. Actually, I need two simple databases. I know just enough to make the forms, but when it comes to queries, I get a little lost. If not, does anyone know a company locally that provides such a service?

Thanks

Kenny..

If you get a chance, watch the Jason Kraus heli exhibition which he put on at the San Diego MWE last weekend. This was the incredible demo that I saw.

Pick on:
JK's Ion-X Flight #1

He drilled out an .049 and had a brushless in there. Clever and funny. Really had me fooled.

OH MY GAWD! I just watched the Ion flight #1. I'm still shaking my head in disbelief. The lawn mower trick was simply amazing. I guess I'd better start practicing with my Piccolo.

No matter what weather service you check it looks like a crappy day in store for tomorrow. I guess I'll sleep in and work on yet another SwitchBack modification. This one will be TWICE as much fun.

The military SwitchBack flew great but the cheesy Wattage retracts sucked. I pulled them out and mounted stock gear. The new plane will make up for that failure.

Sounds cool, Joe! I figured the weather would be bad tomorrow, so I probably won't be going whether its good or bad.

Jim- Pretty funny pic. Wonder how much weight he added there?

Finally finished my IE3D freestyle song today, and it's a blast to fly to. Hopefully video within the next week. I really encourage you guys try this stuff sometime, even if it is just on a sim. It forces you to practice low, better stuff without getting bored.

The next time I quote the National Weather Service or any weather report someone slap me HARD and repeatedly. As late as midnight the weather channel was saying we would have a 40% chance of rain and high winds. They were all wrong. I look out the window at cloudy skies but the flags and the trees are completely still. Shoot, I wish I had gotten up earlier and gone flying. Oh well, I guess I'll get a bunch of building done.

Weather "Pro's" all need to upgrade their Magic 8 Balls, Quiji Boards and coin flipping techniques. My dog offers better forcasts.

Where does Arizona find these guys? They predicted 6" of SNOW for Tucson recently! Lol!

Dave,

Don't discount that prediction too quickly. I am a native of Phoenix and the first time I ever saw snow falling in my life was in Tucson!

Joe:

They already blew that prediction. Today, they went way out on a limb and predicted snow above the 5000' level (for tonight). Well, golly gee wiz. That might actually happen!

Sorry. Weather Man Rant Mode OFF. It's Joe's fault. He got me started.
