Nice one, Joe! I've always liked the Lanzo Airborne. I had the 50 inch Spirit of Yesteryear kit, but it got away from me in a trade for something nicer. Some day...

I see yours is the glider version. Hi-start for this one?

Lanzo Airborns are good flying models at any size. Original size with electric power and scaled up over 1600 sq. in. wing area with a PAW .40 diesel. Jack

Hi Don,and Jack,
Wow you guys build some nice Gliders!! I put a Brushless motor in the nose, so no High start,
needed to get this Airborne in the Air! At least I hope !!!
That 12 Foot really looks Neat!! Mine at 9 feet seems very large! I hope to start covering next week, I will finally use up all of my Covering!!! Finally!

Two Spirit of Yesteryear (SoS) Airborns. White fuse min and the other Jay Burkart's. Also photos of me flying my little Airborn in Jay's front yard a few years back. SoS kits have the dihedral reduced. Our models have original dihedral as we fly them in SAM contests. Jack

Jack,

It's really too bad having to fly in that small yard !
Some of our flying fields are more cramped !

Almost all covered

Hi Guys,
Ok, I have most of the covering done, weight is 80 oz. not bad for 108" wingspan.
I just have the fuslage sides and stab to do I made a Skid for the bottom, to keep
the bottom nice on Landings!
