No Ed i'm sorry, your Bug isn't in it,

The following is,

Wade Joos's - Learjet 31 & A10 warthog

Greg Moore's - White Knight

Patrick Richards's - BAE 146

Dave Reynolds's - Midwest Jetster

and a Bob E-cat not further specified by Owner/Builder

Well it's clear, E-Jets have arrived......

Thanks Appie. Oh well, guess I'll have to build something cooler. My Bug made it into the Flying Models report. Maybe if I'd have finished the panel lines on the left side....

Well Ed,

I See "Jet Hangar Hobbies" (aka Chris Wolfe ?) listed in the Sponsors list

So maybe that will help

Nope, no influence there, Chris's jet is very scale and has a fantastic finish (and panel lines on both sides!) and deserves more attention than mine. His color scheme is awesome, mine is just flat grey. Mine was to have some color, but I still haven't put the decals I made for it on, just a few of them (lazy I am). My F-18 is just a sport scale F-18 (no offense Kevin!) with a few mods to spruce up the looks, but there's still a lot of deviations from scale. I built it because I figured a kit would save me some time, which it did, and I learned a few things in the process. My F-18 was in RC Jets International last year when it was in it's bare wood and monokote finish (no paint), with one gear not extended. I think I need to build something colorful next!

The Plane looks good Ed.

A flying buddy of mine allways says "When the Plane is 2 meters away, nobody notices the details, so why bother to put them on ??"

As long as it flies well no problemo

It would help, sure! But I think this particular model would have made it in anyway! It is also in the new RCJI, and JHH does not advertise there, I think. It also got first place at the Toledo Show. I hope they bring it to WRAM later this month, but JHH does not usually make it there.
The kid is a chip off the old Larry block. It's really a nice job. Have to give credit to Larry and JHH. He has been at it for a LONG time. One of the first, if not THE first, people to put out REALLY scale jets. His own demo models are superb, the guy is an EXCELLENT scale builder. The reason why he is so hot on his own stuff, aside from making a living off of them, is because he TRULY BELEIVES in them. He really does. He has fun with his models, too.
Some stuff you may not know about Larry and JHH...he is a stick and tissue basher from way, way back, one of the true faithful. He's hardcore! He even supplies plans for all of the old Berkeley jets through his company. He is always willing to pick up the phone and answer ANY question about his models, he knows what works and what does not. Evidently, he is lucky enough to have a son who has gotten at least SOME of Da Father's talent and enthusiasm, and we are all richer for it.
My buddy just called me up yesterday to rave about this model after getting Flying Models in the mail and seeing it. He asked when I was going to build one, but I'm waiting for Aldous Yuen's fiberglass one...I don't love the F-14 enough to make a rather involved all balsa one into my major winter project!
Nice, nice model. Good choice of color scheme, too.

I didn't mean anything Bad with it, i think its very logical if one sponsers an event that they put a picture or write some lines about the company involved, we all have to make a living aren't we ?

Reading your lines, i sense that you're a BIG fan of JHH, nothing wrong with that

I did check out the JHH website and they produce very nice models indeed, it's a shame that it's quite expensive to ship them over here to Europe otherwise they would do well over here as well.
