The "manufacture" says "Fall" delivery, and you expect me to belive what a reseller says? Most these resellers want to grab your money and you're stuck with them.

I'm not believing anything. I'm just communicating information. I haven't paid for the item. I checked several sites and I did make a pre-order with Horizon. I just find it interesting that HobbyOne contacted me because I had the item sitting in my cart for over a week and they are communicating that they have the item in stock ready to ship.

this is sweet as it gives us more options to choose
Well, for me it's an easy choice. I have 4 hobby shops less than 30 minutes from me and 1 just under an hour away. Only one carries DJI, none carry Walkera (and there's a good reason). And I can't fly my other planes off the DJI Tx, so that means I have to drag that extra Tx around with me. Where as the 350QX can run off my DX7 (which DOES have a 3 position switch-"flaps"), and ALL the hobby shops near me carry Horizon products, parts, etc.

So to me, the only competition is to see if either DJI or Walkera can match HH's product support, in house parts availability, and who will get there first. It's going to be a long hard road for either one of them to beat HH in that aspect. I don't care if the DJI or Walkera flies better or not. If they crash, what do you have to do to fix it compared to an HH product?

Judging by the pics in post #104 it appears there are two landing gear configurations, One is taller than the other. HH shows the shorter of the two on their site, The GoPro appears to be almost touching the ground. Another thing I noticed is the compass module is on the landing gear, Much like the Phantom's. I don't really like that, I hope it's somewhat waterproof, As damp grass would affect longevity. The motors appear to have a one piece stamped steel bell, Much like some of the TowerPro motors out there. The props appear to screw on to the bell with two screws, A sensible approach if you ask me. I am sure 3rd party vendors will pick up this and make adapters for standard props. As for Walkera's QR X350, I don't think many people will choose it over the Blade QX350 do to most Walkera vendors shipping rates. I own many Walkera products and I have to say that I have been very pleased with them lately. If you would have asked me what I thought about Walkera ten years ago, I would have said "You would be better off throwing your money out the window". Where HH is going to shine in this market is support and availability.
