EPS will still keep go on, unstill the stock parts run out.

EPO Formosa already on the way some time ago.

More types of GWS WW-IIs will also to be made by using EPO.

How about GWS planes built with EPP? It is the best material by far! Hard to cut, but it breaks very clean, and can easily be assembled with regular CA..

I'm actually looking forward to the change to EPO. There are many advantages to it and the only disadvantage is it's heavier. A little more power takes care of the heavy part so it's a winner.

EPP is too flexible.

So that we will only come with EPO so far, unless EPP version can find out a better solution.

Bill, very nice! Yes, the short coupling between the wing and the tail make the Funny Park hard to fly until you develop some speed.. But, it does make it funny when flying..

Yes, the good size wing area the plane got, with 2218 Brushless to enhance the Maneuverability, plus some deco to make it fly like a dancer in the air.
Yes, it's sort of fun not funny...............Instead I'd rather to name it " Dreamer"..

I love my Funny Park. I bought it used at my LHS. It's not the best flyer I have, but it's always fun to toss up, and it gets a lot of air time.

I was kind of wanting to build another one with some improvements, kind of like Bill did in the post above. I took a little different route though. I found a built up balsa model that's pretty close to the Funny Park, but much bigger (48" wingspan). It's the Stevens AeroModel SkyBoy 600. It has the same basic shape, and also has a big wing with a bunch of dihedral at the ends, which is what makes the Funny Park a fun flyer. There are a coupe build threads for the SkyBoy on RCGroups.

B---Landing gear--- card board +high density foam rubber mounting padding + padding foam sheet
C---pilot--- EPS + carving + foam rubber gaggle after painting

That is some very clever use of stuff you can find around the house. The engine is a very nice touch. You really did a great job on that plane and I copied all of your pictures. That way when I build another Funny Park I will have some great ideas to work with. Thanks for posting this.

I especially like the pilot, he reminds me of a musician I know..

It's my pleasure to share with all of you.
Forgot to include the improvement that I did on those spoke bike wheels.
Oh, the " dual Dihedreal" modified from crashed slow sticks in one of the pix was built back to 90's, and that "Dual Sticks" tought my daughter how to fly enjoyfully.
See? it still survive after so many years? Soon I might hand it to my grand son???
Since, to the aeronautics dihedreal x 2 is the best pertaining to "Dihedron".
Wash-off x 2?

I have to say thanks to the donor - GWS..............
