Dare/Rake 42.8" Nieuport 11

I'd building the Dare Hobbies Nieuport 11 (a Peter Rake design) and am looking for a dummy LeRhone for it. The model is approximately 1/7 scale so the the engine should be 5-5.25" in diameter. Any thoughts?

IIRC, that dummy engine was made for the model in question. I didn't know Dare still did it, or is it an old one?

Pete-
The kit is reasonably new, I got it at the Dare booth at Toledo in 2012. It took me a couple of months to get to it and I've been working on it for the last 6 month's or so. It's coming along nicely. I've got it framed and have started covering. It should be finished in the next month or so.

Portablevcb- thanks I ordered the engine.

None of us will believe you unless you post some build pics.

You're welcome.

I keep forgetting to get that one up on the web site.

Ditto. The colors look great.

What are you using for covering and paint?

The cream coloring is Coverlite ( about six pacs - wish I could buy it in rolls when I do this big of a project).

The paint is a mix of things. The red, green and silver (inside the cowl) are just ModelMaster rattle cans. It's "Italian Red" and "Racing Green".

The grey on the firewall and motor extension is simply grey acrylic and the white is Coverite 21st Century Gloss White. Kinda used whatever I had around that would do the job.
