Anyone please help - Can a 7.2 volt charger charge a 9 volt Battery pack?

Please reply asap as I am online now and have to let a guy know if I want to buy his charger.

I am using 150 mah 9 volt batteries and the charger is a 250mah 7.2 volt fast charger.

I heard somewhere that you can't charge a battery pack with a higher voltage than the charger - is this true?

Thanks so much,
Jamie.

Come on guys, one of you must know if I can charge 9 volt batteries with a 7.2 charger. Girlfriend is getting annoyed with me being on-line so long so this is my last chance.

Thanks again
Jamie.

In order to charge a battery you have to have a greater voltage. YOur car is 12 volts but it has to charge at least 14 to 15 volts. The same holds true for ni-cad or any battery.
