No Gavin.
Your ballast is very nice engineered ,
I just did not get how it works to keep CG in right position.
My bad.

No biggie. Its just long to compensate for noseweight

Novel idea Gavin but have you noticed a difference in pitch or yaw response due to the increased inertia caused by the very long weight?

hello,

is still FAI legal? the T blade seems to increase the wing span, does it still fall into the 1,50m?

thanks,

Cedric,

The Snipe span without the peg is comfortably under the FAI limit, so that installation should be fine.

thanks,

Cedric,
I wondered about that so I measured the span and slid the peg out to meet the 1500mm span limit - see picture 1.

My build details here.

I ended up with it much further in when it was fixed - see second picture. You will need to check the exact situation on your own wing with a measuring tape.

Thank y'all for your kind comments. I did not think I did anything special or very different from other builders. But you all can certainly continue praising me, I really enjoy it Mike Seid called me a narcissist a few times, but I am not sure I am the only one he called that (hey Mike, thanks).
