I can't screw the carbon plate to the plastic motor mount because of the 3 motor wires.
Motor screwed to the three outer hole on the carbon plate, so it can't be reversed.
Here is how i did cabling on arms.

There should be a little sticker in the top right corner with the new model.

They all come in the same box

there is no different on the Fy680 and the 690s

the only different is the 690 come with the new mount where you mount the motor to the far end of the boom on the mount instead the 680 on the boom and that give you like 1/2ich more on each size so now you can fly 14" props that all it is.

I saw a post where some one bought a 690 and the complain that the box is open. Well what they did is since it the same frame they just open the box swap out the old mount to the new mount and you have 690 so dont alarm if this is your case

ps if the plate came with your kit is matted then you in luck if your plate is shiny then that is the half n half carbon which some one call it fake carbon. It very hard to get the matted plate as only luck lol

Copterstar: I saw that you also carry the Tarot 2814 700 kv motor. Do you think it's a good match for this frame with 13 inches props? (I was thinking 13X6.5)

Is this motor comparable to the sunnysky one?. it is really inexpensive and look great!

Hey, did you got the old landing gear? Seems that you didn't get th T shaped plastic part to join the vertical part to the horizontal part. Where did you buy it?

Looks nice. Did you upgrade the capacitors?

Got my 690 kit still sitting in the box. Was delivered while I was travelling and going to travel some more before I get a chance to start putting it together.

Don't you think it's dangrous to have wires hangin outside of the arm like this? In case of a crash, or even just a hard landing, you might break on of your escs.

Good plan.

Can you post pictures of the rest of the frame? Want to see how you have it set up.

Thanks

I assume you made those mounting plates yourself? I am just mounting my esc's directly to the bottom of the plastic mount.
