Why do my NINHs have to warm up?

I am running 730 mah 7 cell NIMH batteries in my GWS E-starter. I have noticed that a couple of my packs do not have much power until I have been in the air for several minutes. Then, they seem to come to life.... What gives??????

NiMH have a lower resistance when warm. Peak them before you fly, so they're fresh off the charger and already warm. Then you'll have no problems..
