Your airplane pictures

Hello Ezone,
Everytime that there is a buildind thread the airplanes always turn out to be beautifull. What about all of the other ones?
If you have a plane that you are proud of and have some pictures of it place them here on this thread.

Hi Jake
That looks like someone scaled up a flat-sided semiscale model of a Sukhoi to man-carrying sizes - even looks like there's a battery hatch just forward of the canopy ...??

Do you have any good links to info on the type?

Regards

Well Dereck.
That really isnt a battery hatch. The SP-95 was designed to be convertable between 1 and 2 seats. Yeah the SP does look like a SU-26 or something. It is from the same family of russian airplanes with round engines. There are really only about 3 or 4 of these that are still flying. They were the prototype for the InterAvia !-3. They are very similar ill post a pic of a single seat I-3. If you want some info on this airplane go to

TVM Jake - interesting type. One airfield I was stationed at in my RAF days had a resident Zlin similar to the 526 Trenner - very strange retracting UC. Never saw it do more than fly visual circuits around the field doing touch and go practice - about par for course for RAF pilots given a chance!

That SP95 may be convertable to two seats - but I see a battery hatch! Of course, as it's now 358th in the projects queue, I wouldn't hold your breath over seeing mine fly

That's my present "new toy" in my avatar.

Hi Jake
No, I don't. But I'd like one!

But I do have possibly the longest designing / building queue on the E Zone!

As I don't buy many kits, can't find time to build from other folks' plans and would rather drive a Toyota Camry than buy a "ready to fly", I just accumulate designs I'd like to model. Sometimes they are nothing more than a 3-view printed out and filed, some make it to outline drawings in a CAD file.

Here's my 'new toy' - "E-Rotica".

She's 51" span, for a Hacker on 16 cells. Indications are, with 16 x CP2400, she'll be about spot on 5lb - not bad for a 700W model. I spent too long tinkering with the design last year - the basis was a top European FAI pattern model from 2002 - but finally got down to building fast. She should be ready to test in a couple of weeks.

To demonstrate what I'm like in this hobby - I opened up her file to clean up the wing ribs last week and by the time I went to bed, had a file about roughed out for her 10 cell baby sister !

Regards

Tom -

That's one of my favorite GeeBee photos.

You and that plane just look like you were made for one another!

Your GeeBee thread jump started me to get mine finished. I'm so glad I finished mine. I love flying it - though I have to admit I only fly it on dead calm mornings.
