Ideas for good battery charger

I have done a fair amount of searching but
is there any guide/faq on battery chargers

Or does anyone have recomendations.

I am just starting e-flight but I hate to get
a $50 dollar one if I need a $100 one.

My first plane is going to be a Tiger Moth and
my second a t-52. Allready building both.

I would like the ability to charge 8 cell packs
NiCd and NiMH and possibly lithium (for the moth).

You'll get as many opinions on what charger to get as there are people on this Forum!
I use a Digipulse that is an 16 hour charger (plugs into the 110 and takes 16 hours to charge a battery) Most agree that for a new pack at least the first charge should be at c/10 In other words if you had a 300mah pack you would set the charger to charge the pack at 30ma for 16 hours. The Digipulse I use will charge 6 batteries at once.
Just be sure that what ever you get states that it will charge all of the types of batteries you are going to use. Llithium usually takes a special charger.
Have you done a search for battery chargers on the Forum as there has been a ton of info lately.

If you're concerned about cost, get the lithium batteries from for your Moth. For your US$10, you get a charger included...
