Are they any kind of brand or ??? Hitec, JR, Futaba, Airtronics, Cirrus, GWS, Pico, etc?

For $8.95 it cant hurt to buy 4 and try them out.

That's true but I have gotten some pretty good items before at much less than what they normally cost. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with them.

My guess is that pot quality and overall quality aren't too good. Give it a shot if you wish, but HS-55s and GWS Picos are hard to beat, especially since this forum is about spending $$$ for good performance.

Dan, thanks. I almost always use digital servos in my planes and in my helis but for some of the planes that aren't high performance and in need of super low weight I was thinking it might be worth a chance but just curious if someone had actually used them before...

I think I will buy a few and give them a try and then I will post the results as to how they work. If they work well, it's a hard price to beat....Thanks...

I purchased some a while back. They work fine the only problems I have had is one of 4 was not very smooth. It was kinda of jittery in the air. I suppose it is because if its lack of torque. I like them because I usually wreck my palnes a long time before a servo could wear out.

Thanks for the information as you have been the only one that has actually used them. I appreciate your help.....

I have used several of the 9 gram servos purchased on eBay and they are great for the $$$. I bought mine from Draganfly for $8.95.

IMHO, they're perfect for the foamys. In fact, I'll be ordering more this week. They are in my YAK below:

I buy all my micro servos from Draganfly on e-bay. His current listing for 6 gram and 9 gram servos, I think, is at $8.95 too.

Here is one listing number: 9G Micro Servo Futaba,JR,Hitec,GWS,Airtronics
$8.95 For A 9 Gram Servo Worldwide Shipping!

Item number: 3168989779

All of the servos I've had work great. They are a little slower and a little weaker than similar servos from Hitec (HS81?), but at half the price who cares! The guy is a good seller, too.

My only problem is he charges a bit much for replacement gear sets. ($4, I think). I've never needed them, but to have some around in a pinch is good planning.

Hope this helps
