First of all I'm sorry for my English, but I want to show my building project of Boeing-777-200 LR by composite + foam technology.



In TRANSAERO Airlines livery



Because my English this blog will be more photos than bla-bla-bla (words)

I start my project in SolidWorks to make molds for fuselage.






To make molds I made positive preform from XPS-foam by CNC











Than parts glued all together



Scale 1:22.............. fuse length is about 3 meters

It will be 2xEDF Schuebeler DS-94 DIA High Static Thrust and 2x7800 mAh 12S LiPo









Each EDF has 7+ kg of thrust with 12S. Total 14-15 kg. Flying weight of my model I hope will be not more than 15 kg. I Think it's enough

Peter use another motor and 14S LiPo. And his setup heavier than mine

I fit fuse with glass fabric on epoxy resin (3 layers of 80 g/m2) and I cover with several layers of hard putty.
And off-course a lot of sanding
