There are rumors of an impending release of a Trex 150 FBL with DFC head.

I hope this is real this time. The rcmania website is usually quite reliable.

Hopefully it's not overpriced and comes in a BNF version that works with existing radios/modules from various manufacturers.

This will probably take forever like the 100... and we all know how it ended up. Plus, if no picture of the real thing are available, either they are testing it in some russian underground missile facility or it's still far from coming.
Happy to be proved wrong on all of the above thou....

the 100X flys very well. Major problem is stock batteries were less than good. I use nano tech 160ma and better but not great. This design should have used at least a 200ma 35c battery. Even so I get 3-4 minutes flight time and again little bird flys very nice. Wide stance l/g is nice. The $1.36 for new battery isn't going to break the bank.
150 should be pretty decent, hope they do it riight. 130X/ V102D02s have problems. We shall see what happens !

I will believe it when i see it , and it has to be better than the Trex 100 series which for most was a total let down. I think they have to get this one right first time .

My thoughts are:
It needs to be a CP.
It needs to be, at least, Spektrum compatible, or have the facility to add a micro receiver of your choice.
It needs to be better than the MCPX.
Align are, arguably, the industry standard. They aren't used to shooting them self in the foot which, IMHO they did with the 100. I don't mind paying a higher price than the competition but the machine needs to justify a higher price in performance and build quality.
I await the 150's arrival with some eagerness but the longer it goes on the more jaded I get.

I opened this thread back in Apr. I had forgotten it and the 150. My thought now would be they ran into some type a problem in development and have chosen to hold back on the release date. With that thought I just hope that the marketing people will not push that release date up and release the 150 with some type of development problem. Horizon has done this how many times? +1 on the receiver of choice, that would go a long way selling me.
