news from DEANS MARINE

Dear Modellers
I thought that you might like an update from Farcet and to let you know what is new to the DEANS MARINE range.

Following the 2013 Nurnburg toy we are pleased to release the new kit of the
Merchant ship S.S. Truro, one of the most requested model we have added to our range, She was shown as a prototype a few years ago, but not released due to the complexity of the assembly, now with our own in house laser cutters and vinyl printing and cutting machines we feel that we can do this new model justice.
The kit is being released on the first run system at this time price for the first run kits ONLY will be 299.00
Details of the model are as follows

Length 960mm Beam 139mm Scale 1/96

The model of the S.S. TRURO is constructed on a glassfibre hull with bulwarks and freeing ports moulded into the hull.
The decks and superstructure are in 1.5mm & Laser cut plastic parts plus .5mm computer generated printed plastic to speed up assembly of this graceful and complex model
Etched brass sheet supplies stanchions, walkways and deck fittings and fine details to add the truly professional touch to this hard working merchant ship model.
Set of vacforms for ships boats, funnel etc, plus a set of laser printed cast vinyl deck planking sets.
Propeller tube, fitted with oiling point and stainless steel shaft and cast rudder are included together with a comprehensive instruction book and a FULL SIZE colour detailed plan. A C/D with over 300 pictures of the three prototype models. Full details are supplied for the fitting of motors, nicads and radio equipment.
