Question

Eng+tail+head rpm, can they be calibrated separately?

Hi ..

I have magnetic sensors on engine, tail & the head of a heli.
Is it compulsory to have the same number of magnets on all 3 shafts?

The head and tail have 2, the engine one. (1 magnet upside down for gov)

Perhaps I need to turn one upside down on tail & head?

Thanks in advance B

Supplementary Q

Using 3 magnetic sensors on the fdr... I turned one magnet upside down on the tail and main shaft. All three have effectively one magnet now.

Supplementary question, I have just daisy chained the A/D expander, rpm c has dropped off, is it possible I have exceeded channel limit?

In the custom hardware there is an option for dual rpm with an expander at id1
