I've also made a custom wing joiner using nylon screws, small pieces of ply and O-rings. It works very well and I've been using the same method on my SW for many flights.

It's very easy and can be done on many models, just cut away some foam, glue a piece of ply, drill a hole and glue a nylon screw. Do the same on the corresponding side and the sides can be attached using an O-ring. Done!

EDIT: Excuse the exessively large area of removed foam as well as rough edges. It can be made a lot nicer.

EDIT2: We have had and have some different kinds of wing joiner solutions except using tape or gluing the wings but none that has been decided to go into production yet.

March 25th has come and gone.
Thought I was going to be able to order today.

I've also been waiting for a brushless gimbal for my quad.
Only can afford the plane or gimbal right now.

Curious to see if its gong to be the RVjet and ESC/motor package or the gimbal.
Whichever is available first is where my money is going.

I wonder if shipping will be included or because of the size it will be another $20-$30.

My bet is on this week some time.. They aren't a huge operation and I'm sure they have other product orders to pack, quality control stuff, and general day to day business activities.. Smaller businesses are more susceptible to daily changes in product schedules. The RVGS was finally back in stock a day after they originally said it would be so perhaps this is the case with the RVJET. These people can't be expected to work 24/7 either.. Give them a break..

Pricey for a foam plane, but is the only design like it on the market currently. High quality servos included, it's modular, and very transportable. I think it will sell well.

The RVJet has a full, included pan/tilt system, nice metal geared servos, custom, re-usable storage/shipping case...I think it is worth the $ they want for it.

I especially like the storage/shipping box they include. Traveling with FPV airplanes is difficult, so having an actual box designed for the job is going to be sweet!
