Nice calm evening to fly! It's kinda neat that you often include footage of the Phantom flying almost as much as flight fpv. Gives some nice perspective from a rc hobbyist pov. The prop wash on the calm lake is also interesting and I think deserves some filming experiments of my own.

water rippling in the power of the propellers is reassuring to watch
Don't go too down when you try that

Just posting some video... Lots of jello but other than balancing props, i've not tried to reduce it yet. Will start that real soon!

I've recently made the jump to first person video and it is easier to frame shots and fly distance than by line of sight alone. This is a very quick edit of 3 flights around part of a National Park I live very close to. Singing Sands in Tobermory, Ontario, Canada.

If anyone is interested I could post one of the whole flights from this area rather than the little montage edit.

Outstanding. Great job all around. Maybe a bit smaller imprint? But really nice.

Thanks Harry, it's a combination of being really fun flying fpv and kinda nerve racking. I'm just getting started with fpv and my depth awareness for close in flying is still VERY limited. Taking some baby steps in big open areas for the most part to get a feel for it all.

Well it looks really good. I, too, am still getting the feel for flying FPV ... that 2D world thing takes some adaptation. I like your video production skills, too. Keep it going!

Woodbury common and Blackhill Quarry nature reserve

Finally a break in the weather
Filmed at Woodbury Common and Blackhill Quarry nature reserve.
The old quarry workings are now being turned back to nature.

bet that got the heart racing a bit. About 90% of my flights are over water so I'm always judging the risk factor into the equation. One of my motors is just starting to sound funky so given where I usually fly I have ordered a replacment and a spare to give me some peace of mind.

Nice video, but that blue hue on the treetops is taking your eye upwards all the time. Did you put that in in post ?

Btw,....it's in your pond video also. What is it?

It was a bit of a scare
I have just changed my motors for T-Motor MN2214-11 920KV antigravity! motors , after one of mine started making noises. I ordered some new ceramic bearings for my original motors which I'll fit and keep as spares.
The T-Motors have had nearly 50 batteries through them and are still as smooth as new. Also perfectly balanced out of the box.

Hi eirlink ,
I hadn't even noticed the blue hue until you mentioned it. It sticks out like a sore thumb now !
I thought I must have done it in post. I normally adjust the vibrancy setting to give the picture a bit more colour, as our weather is usually so dull.
But checking the raw files from the camera the blue hue is present in them.
I'll have to go through the camera settings and see if I have accidentally turned something on.
