1/8 electric on road?

I'm trying to get a couple of views of which 1/8 on road electric car to get? I don't want to break the bank. It's just for street bashing. I have a load of 6s 5000 so would like to use them if poss.

The two I've been looking at are kyosho inferno gt2 and the ofna dm1.

Any thoughts?

I guess not many people have experience of 1/8 on road. They do seem to be few and far between.

I just prefer the size. There a little easier to work on and a little more rugged.

If anybody has any thoughts on em please chip in.

1/8 on road there are not a lot of options. They seem like a niche market. I like the size as well. I only ever had 1/8 off road stuff. You will have more options going 1/10. I Have had very good luck with Kyosho cars I wish I had a few more. I like to recommend what I run. I have never run OFNA so I can't say how good they are. They may bee a little more rugged but I have had my 1/10 stuff bounce back from some hard knocks just fine.

ofna is a more modern design than gt2 but gt2 is strong as old boots (but is an old formula from landmax had both) an no doubt ofna parts be easier n cheaper too, theres also an offering from serpent corba gt e

With the release of the DM-One Pro-Touring Nitro Sedan 1/7th car, a new larger class of Pro Racing is now possible. Larger than the OFNA GTP kits, the DM-ONE has the look and feel of a more scale nitro racer. Based on the super strong X-1 transmission, the speed and performance will more than meet your racing expectations.

I've been looking for a brushless conversion for that 1/7 DM-One. There doesn't seem to be anything out there for it unfortunately.

I suggest Kyosho Inferno GT2 VE Race Spec Ceptor ReadySet 1/8 Scale Electric On-Road Kit. The incredible Kyosho Inferno GT2 has received a tire melting power upgrade! The big 1/8 scale size has been combined with a high-power Team Orion Vortex R8 power system with detailed scale body to deliver awesome power and style.

Regards.
Andy.
