Please excuse my noobness, but I keep seeing "rewound motors" being used with gimbals. I had looked up the term and it said basically it was for rebuilding a motor. What am I missing?

you have to rewind the motors specifically for gimbal use, so it's easier if the brushless gimbals come with motors that are already rewound since most people won't know how to do that on their own

Well I guess this video is good, but it hard to tell as it in a language I don't understand. Are these motors re-wound to produce less power?

Not knowing any better, can some one answer why is it preferred to use brushless motors, instead of servo?

a couple cause:
-brushless motors faster than any servo
-smoother than servos

What's the price you intend to retail this at? (including rewound motors)
