Ah man, I cleared some room in my hanger...should I get this plane?

I even picked up four 5245 servos.

Must resist.

I stopped in at the LHS today, and asked about OMP, and the owner and some other guys have some of your profile planes, said they are great.

Well I am working on it tonight.

First thing I did was the horizontal stab. Usually the way I do this is I prefit it to the fuse and measure the trailing edge making sure each side is equal. After that I cut the covering on both sides and use epoxy to glue in place . As the epoxy is glueing I check the measurement again. Then put the plane vertical and check alignment with the wing. Its better for me to eye ball it than take the measurements I feel. After the epoxy dries I like to take a bead of CA to go down the bottom on each side to secure it.

Moving on to the wings as I let the stab drive. The servo hole is already cut out for you.

Use the supplied CA hinges to hinge the ailerons and making sure to wipe away any extra CA.

I currently dont have the servos in but I went ahead and glued in the control horns for the ailerons. I used a solder tip to cut the hole for the control horn. Make sure you scuff up the horn before glueing it in. I also went ahead and put the control rods on. Just waiting for the servos for the wings.

If everything goes right this plane should fly next weekend. Just waiting on servos, rx and a prop to come in. Only problem is I currently dont have a video camera besides my go pro, and ipad. Gotta find one soon! If anyone had a good recommendation let me know.

I use a head mounted gopro, but you have to fly close, and it takes a lot of video editing to get it decent, and even then, it's not great.

I actually forgot I have a older digital camera in the closet. It wont be in HD but it is good enough for now till I can get a decent HD camera.
