TRX 2.5 to a Jato 3.3?

total noob question. I have a Duratrax that came with a 1.8? or .18? I have another that had a 2.5 TRX in it. Both motor mounts hold the 1.8 with no starter, and the 2.5 with a blown piston, and a new Dynamite .19 I bought. I have two cars and both use the same motor mount.

Can I put a Jato 3.3 engine in a car that had a TRX 2.5?

Thanks for all the help.

You're mixing up cubic inches and cubic centimeters...

A 2.5cc engine is .15ci, and a 3.5cc is .21ci. 3.3cc is about .20, but might be sold as a .19. As for the 3.3cc fitting where the 2.5cc did, I'm not sure if the mounts are the same or not.

The mounts are the same you might need to fiddle with the throttle linkage to get it right.

Just an update. I put this Traxxas 3.3 on a Duratrax Evader Nitro. I had to drill new holes for the motor mount to move it closer but worked great.
