i don�t know the shops you have mentioned. all i know is that under

the directsource4u.co.uk guy(s) also doesn�t have the best interwebz reputation as far as I can read on here. too many promises i guess.

do the shops have them in stock actually?

but hubsan have learned i guess. there are rubber bumpers under the motor plates.

Hi Gents,
Hmmm...$35 for registered and $50 for EMS to TX from those Venders. I wonder if Banggood can beat that?

I am very interested in knowing how the X4 will fly using that nicer Tx too

I believe oomodel had the v922 listed for sale for a month before it was released by WL toys even though they had none in stock, so I wouldn't trust that listing.(send them an E-mail)

I just got a Hubsan x4 from Soodohobby.com. They're a new online hobby shop in China that is specializing in Quads and FPV. They have the Hubsan FPV plane for sale (Same TX) and I sent my contact an E-mail this morning asking if they have any info on the FPV quad. If they send me any useful info I'll be sure to update you guys.

Hubsan also has a FPV coax out that uses that tx as well.

Edit: I sent oomodel an E-mail as well asking if they have them in stock ready to ship. Will update.

Jim, i have read somewhere (but i cant recall the source) that spyhawk tx would work with x4.

Spyhawk Tx compatibility would make sense. Range on it is said to be 2000ft so probably adequate for most, although it could be less with the X4's PCB Rx antenna.

Two things to wonder about are camera FOV (<90 unusable IMO) and whether the VTx runs off a 2nd lipo, employs a step-up+filter from main lipo, or operates at <2.8v off the main; cause that's what the voltage will sag to during WOT on the X4.

Presumably a step up regulator as they are simple / small / light / cheap. I have one on my standard X4 to run a stripped down #11 keyfob camera off the flight pack.

They have a few models they use that tx. Their website shows 2 coax, 2 fp single blade, and three planes that all appear to use the same tx and camera.

Former communication I had with a Hubsan official confirmed that every Hubsan TX works with every Hubsan airframe.

Just received E-mails from both oomodel and Soodohobby.com.

Oomodel said: "I'm sorry but that helicopter hasn't been officially released yet."

Soodohobby is currently developong a DIY FPV kit for the x4. I'm told their engineers are working on it now and testing the camera with the tx. There is a bit of a language barrier but it almost sounded like the DIY set-up when finished will actually be the system that comes with the factory released FPV x4? Maybe that's why Hubsan pulled it the ads rom their site. Engineering issues with the FPV?

Either way I'm hoping I can get the DIY system from Soodohobby to test when they're ready. I'll be sure to update if I hear anything new.

That's exactly what moonhobby replied me. Just weird that we could place an order even the product does not exist yet.
I also manage to talk to hubsan sales reps (skype) and he/she said this product is not in production yet. But he/she did not mention anything when will they start producing and release it.
But i dont believe 100% on what they said. I remember when Hubsan X4 was hard to find anywhere several months ago, then traxxas jump into their massive production line.
The same thing may happen to this new fpv version. Who knows...

So finger crossed.

Yeah, I think it's anoying when sites list products they don't have. There should at least be a banner that says "Coming Soon". (preferably with a date)

I'm hoping the DIY version will be out soon. I'd love to get my hands on it.

it works fantastic with the nicer tx Jim

ive been doing some experiments in the background so to speak and if i could find my post about hubsan x4 with turnigy 9x i would update that too but for now

heres the TX with all issues sorted
